Please help make a difference in our community by financially supporting Path to Citizenship.

Path to Citizenship is funded through individual donations, local congregations, and grants from foundations and local businesses.  Funds raised go to making the legal aid clinics possible and to providing the financial basis for microloans.  Though we work in partnership with IMMJ, Path to Citizenship has worked diligently to be financially self supporting.

Funds donated to Path to Citizenship are also used to help the increasing number of unaccompanied minor children who are arriving from Central America.  Given the 50-100 hours of legal help needed for each child, the annual amount of funding needed is $14,000. This financial need is pressing. 

Path to Citizenship has also gone beyond the IMMJ services to find several legal guardians for minors, to provide transportation to the required court interviews and appearances in Omaha and Des Moines, and to provide Catholic Charities counselor services for the families.
